PRINCIPLES
Our bodies have an amazing capacity to thrive, to heal and to be vibrant. To do so they need the right materials, materials not provided by many common, modern foods. Aside from lacking the nutrient-dense foods we need, processed foods and our environment are exposing us to more chemicals and toxins which our body are forced to eliminate before we can heal and repair.

At Meant To Be, we use the best food sources available. As much as possible, this means organic, grass and pasture-raised meats, local and seasonal produce when available. Our preparation methods are rigorous. Foods never come in contact with aluminum or other materials which may leach chemicals into the foods.

While necessity requires us to use some plastic packaging, we ensure liquids are below 50 degrees, and solids are at room temperature before coming in contact with the packaging. Preparation methods are specific to maximize nutrients: long cooking of broths to extract as much collagen and minerals as possible, low temperature dehydrating of nuts to preserve enzymes. At Meant To Be, our focus is what we fuel ourselves with, how it is prepared, and the body's ability to digest and assimilate nutrients.

Each individual faces a different nutritional need. Our work is educating individuals in the difference changing what they eat can make to their well-being and to guide them in the best methods and materials to invoke that change. We assess, we guide and develop. Real nutrition for real people.

Weston A. Price Foundation
Our approach to food and it's preparation is rooted in the work of the Weston A. Price Foundation. Their work links the power of growing, preparing and utilizing foods; they are all interwoven. If any step is compromised, all are compromised. Hence, each step is uniquely vital.
